On 5 and 6 February, Munich will be hosting the European edition of the Wearable Technologies conference series. Over the two days, experts from a range of sectors will present the latest developments in wearable technologies in their fields. There will be healthcare-specific sessions on the second day of the event, including talks on graphene technologies for advanced neural prostheses, wearable 3D cameras for surgeons, wearable sensors for bladder monitoring, and more.

Some of the year’s most outstanding innovations will be competing in the Wearable Technologies Innovation World Cup Series, for which the winners with be announced on the first day of the conference. In the healthcare category, the four finalists are a device for measuring blood pressure, a smart breast pump, a patch for intelligent care giving and a smart pill tracker. From 3 February, a four day exhibition will be taking place alongside the conference. Wearable technologies from companies across all sectors will be on display, offering a unique opportunity for networking.
