Held 25 March in London, the third IET International Conference on Technologies for Active and Assisted Living (TechAAL 2019), will highlight and showcase technological developments that seek to enable people to stay active longer, remain socially connected and live independently into old age.

As the population around the world ages, research into aging, age-related conditions and supporting an aging population has become a priority for many governments. By bringing together participants with expertise in a range of disciplines, including researchers, entrepreneurs and healthcare professionals, the event aims to investigate solutions to address these issues from scientific, societal and economic points of view.

As well as learning about the latest technologies that are contributing to this field, participants can network and share ideas with other professionals, and take part in discussions on new developments and technical issues in healthcare.
