IQS Next Tech is an acceleration programme open to science based start-ups ready to industrialise their product. Powered by IQS Tech Factory, the programme welcomes start-ups from a range of sectors, including health, medtech and biotech.

To be eligible to apply, start-ups must have a functional prototype, be based on a proprietary technology that has the potential to be protected, and have at least two full-time team members.

This programme is designed to familiarise start-up teams with the key concepts and processes involved in developing and industrialising a new product. Experts will lead participants through individual sessions centred on design, implementation and manufacturing, in addition to guiding them via one-on-one mentoring sessions and founder stories.

Applications will close on 31 May, before the selected start-ups are announced in 21 June. The programme will take place from June to December, after which the start-ups will have the opportunity to present their newly developed products at a Demo Day in January 2020.

CreatSens Health, a project which took part in the first edition of CaixaImpulse, was named the Most Promising Industrial Startup at IQS Next Tech 2018.
