From 29 to 31 May, Johannesburg will be the venue for the latest edition of the Africa Health Exhibition, the most important healthcare fair on the continent. This year over ten thousand attendees and more than 500 exhibiting companies are expected to take part. The exhibition offers a platform to present products and technology, while encouraging networking between potential partners.

In addition, the event offers a series of conferences and round tables on a number of topics, from medical devices to diagnostic imaging and biomedical engineering. According to ACCIÓ, the Agency for Business Competitiveness run by the regional government of Catalonia, business opportunities with South Africa and neighbouring countries focus on medical equipment to treat diseases such as AIDS, skin cancer, obesity and diabetes.
