This year’s annual EIT Health Summit will be held in Paris on the 2-3 December. EIT Health is a European consortium of leading healthcare innovators, and the Summit is the main a meeting point for its network of over 700 members and stakeholders.

Under the theme 'Defining Unmet Need - How much does it matter?', this year’s Summit will pose important questions about the future of health innovation in Europe, and where priorities should lie going forward. EIT Health is already committed to supporting impact-driven businesses, and so this two-day event will also be an opportunity to showcase innovations and network with potential partners.

Some of the topics covered during the plenary sessions throughout the programme include the role of education in innovation, patient-centred healthcare, and European healthcare investment.

The event will also host the European Health Catapult finals. The startups chosen as finalists in each of the three categories—Medtech, Biotech and Digital Health—will present their business plans in front of a jury of experts for the chance to win up to €40,000. They will also benefit from access to key investors and stakeholders, business training and connecting with the EIT Health community.
