On 5 October, Barcelona will hold the first Open Innovation Forum, which will bring together the industrial sector and the world of academics. It is open to both companies in need of innovative products, services and developments, and research centres that can offer solutions to those needs.

The event will be split into four areas of knowledge, one of which is health. It will consist of pre-arranged meetings between companies in need of innovation and the best proposals for solutions. The deadline for registration is 7 September.

The Open Innovation Forum will be part of Barcelona Industry Week, the biggest business event in the city after the Mobile World Congress.
