On 6 September, CaixaForum Barcelona hosted a Pitch Day for the projects that took part in the CaixaImpulse 2017. The event offers an opportunity for participants to present their projects, in the fields of therapeutic innovation, diagnostics and medical devices, to experts from the pharmaceutical and entrepreneurship in biomedicine sectors, and receive feedback.

More specifically, the experts on hand to assess the proposals were Oliver Chao, Head of Emerging Biomedical Sciences at Sanofi; Antonio Gómez, Scientific Liaison for J&J Innovation Centers at Johnson & Johnson; Sanne de Jongh, Senior Associate at Gilde Healthcare; Erez Chimovits, Managing Director at Orbimed; Xavier Ruiz, Region Marketing Director Iberia at GE Healthcare; Yolanda Casas, Enterprise Sales Manager at Abbott, and Jon Askaa, Non-Executive Director at Inbiomotion and CMO of Medical Prognosis.
