On 27 April, applications will close for the 2018 edition of EIT Health’s Headstart Funding Programme. Aimed at start-ups, spin-offs and SMEs, the programme encourages the development of new products and services and helps projects reach new markets, all under the organisation’s theme: Healthy Living, Active Ageing and Improved Health Care.

Headstart offers up to €50,000 over a period of 12 months, and project submissions must already have significant co-funding. Participants will also have to engage in an EIT Health accelerator activity or meeting as part of the project plan. The programme is suitable for small businesses with a developed prototype that are ready to launch their product in a short period of time.
